Marriott DTC

Once again, the Marriott Denver Tech Center is hosting our celebration. It has done us well for the past two years and we are happy to return.

The hotel is definitely a good size with 11 floors, and over 600 rooms making it the 3rd largest in Denver. It also has a pool and sauna for you to relax in after the busy day of romping about the convention. Each room even has a mini-fridge for you to store some goodies to sustain you through the weekend. It’s best feature though is that it is in the middle of all the action if you have a room.

If you choose to room with the Marriott during the convention, there will be a discount code available after the January 1st, 2008. We will announce the rates at that time also.

Keep in mind that if you have more than 2 people in the room, the rate does go up. There are also other fees such as tax and if you use internet or make calls from your room. Plan for those bits when you are planning out your budget for the weekend.

Parking

The hotel may be huge, but the parking lot can get a bit crowded. When you do drive to the convention, please park legally and in approved spaces. This means that no double parking and only use the handicapped spaces if you have the proper permissions. Parking at other hotel lots is also a bad unless you have a room there. We would hate to see your vehicle towed because of an infraction.

In fact, we encourage you to use public transportation if possible. There are plenty of buses passing by the hotel and the Light Rail has a stop across I-25 from the hotel.
