NDK is big. In 2006 we had just under 5000 attendees and it has a dozen different events happening at any given moment over that weekend. It does get confusing at times whether it be about the events or just the people you meet while there. We try our best to alleviate as much of that confusion as possible by offering a couple different ways for you to get a hold of us.
There is email for the personal questions, things you need answered as quickly as possible or just something that doesn’t need a communal answer. Each of the area heads has a contact form for you to use, so you do not even have to bother with opening an email client or logging into a webmail system.
There is also the forum for interacting with the whole community: staff and attendees. This can be very handy be useful if you want to mention something that could benefit the whole of the community. It can be a simple question or even a suggestion. It even has a private messaging system so you can keep things private if you wish.
In a nutshell, pick what works best for you communication needs. the forum for mass communication, otherwise use email for those more private matters.
