There are a few codes of conduct when you are in the Art Room. Please read through them so you know ahead of time.
- ART SALES: The Art show staff is handling all sales of art that is put up for sale by the artists (Please refer to the Rules for Buying Art for more details!) There will also be artists selling prints and reproductions of their own works in the ARTIST’S ALLEY, located in the back of the Dealer’s Room!
- MODEL ENTRIES: Models may not be handled by an attendee for any reason. Please do not touch, handle, maim, kill, or otherwise destroy any model entry in the model show. I know that many of the Gundam models are all colorful and look like playthings, but believe me when I tell you, if an owner sees you manhandling their models, you run the risk of having the same thing done to you!
- PHOTOGRAPHY: No photography of any kind is allowed in the art and model show room. We have had people in the past who have tried to be sneaky, and whip out their camera and take some quick snapshots. If any of this behavior is observed by art show personnel, you WILL BE ESCORTED OUT OF THE ART ROOM!
- SUBMISSION HOURS: Friday: 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to Noon. - VIEWING HOURS (Subject to change at the convention): Friday: 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Sunday: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. - AUCTION SETUP PERIOD: We will close the show for one hour to allow time for the Art Auction setup, and the Auction will begin at 1:00 p.m. All art MUST be picked up by 3:30 p.m. If you cannot pick up your purchases before 3:30 p.m. Sunday, your bid will be invalidated and the art will be returned to the artist.
- FAN VOTE BEST OF SHOW CATEGORY: A special prize and award will be given for the FAN VOTE Best of Show! Here’s your chance to vote for your favorite model and art in the show! Simply write in the entry number of the art and model pieces and drop them into the ballot boxes located at the front of each side of the show!
