A: No. Entry is on a first come, first served basis
Q: How many models can I bring to the show?
A: As of right now, there is no limit to the number of models that one person can bring to the model show. However, please keep in mind that space is limited and is also on a first come, first served basis.
Q: Can I sell my models through the model show?
A: In a word, no. If you would like to sell your models, please do so through the art show. Please read the art show rules, FAQ, and auction procedures.
Q: What kinds of models are allowed?
A: Submissions will be accepted from science fiction and fantasy as well as anime genres.
Q: Do I have to register/buy a convention pass in order to enter models?
A: Anyone wishing to participate in the Model Show must register for at least a 1-day convention membership or purchase a membership at the door in order to do so.
Q: Do you allow models with a mature theme?
A: In a word, no. Any submissions depicting adult/mature situations or those of a suggestively mature nature are not allowed at this time. We do have quite a few young attendees at Nan Desu Kan, and we do not as yet have a private viewing place for adult/mature-themed models.
Q: What prizes can we expect to see if we win an award?
A: As we usually do not have prizes until right before the convention, I cannot give a definitive answer to that question in this FAQ. Sorry.
Q: Can I photograph models?
A: No.
Q: When does judging take place, and who judges the models in the show?
A: Judging for the model show takes place Saturday after closing. Judges are selected prior to the show, and all decisions of the judges are final.

Q: What happens if I cannot pick up my model(s) on Sunday?
A: If you are unable to pick up your submissions on Sunday, you must make arrangements with the staff. Otherwise the item become the property of the convention, to dispose of as they see fit.
