It is a MADHOUSE around here with these deadlines fast approaching

I have a couple things to tell you. One on the guest front, and then a deadline reminder. First, let us throw the good stuff at you.

MADHOUSE to Visit NDK!!

Our friends studio MADHOUSE are sending us two of their own to visit us at NDK this year. We are pleased to welcome Mr. Shin Itagaki & Mr. Hisashi Abe!! Both Mr. Itagaki and Mr. Abe are from MADHOUSE’s latest & greatest work: “Devil May Cry”. Mr. Itagaki was the Director for the show, and Mr. Abe was the Chief Animation director and Character Designer as well! Please give them both a warm welcome, and be sure to visit them in the panels they will be speaking at over the weekend!

Deadlines, Deadlines, Deadlines!

First, if you have not pre-registered for the convention yet, you better get to it. All pre-registrations must be sent off and postmarked by this Wednesday the 15th! That is the last day to get the $40 rate for the full weekend and also get a spiffy laminated, full-color badge. After that you will have to pay the full $45 weekend rate at the convention.

Also, our AMV head, Scott Anime, wanted me to remind you that the deadline for submissions is less than two weeks away on August 25th. If you want your video to be in the competition, he must have it in his possession by that date. Let us make the competition as big or bigger than last year!
