Animation Celebration: A Denver Art Museum Family Event

The Museum’s Animation Celebration family event, June 9 from noon to 4 p.m., will mark the launch of new Digital Gallery Games, video game adventures in the galleries played on Game Boys. Visitors can meet the voice behind the games and learn how voice-over works using a simple computer program. Families can also attend the Art of Anime Film Festival at the Museum, produced by Nan Desu Kan, the Rocky Mountain region’s foremost Japanese anime convention. Additional attractions will include “Sound Treks,” musician-led tours traveling through galleries on the hour, and “Art of the Cartoon,” an artist-led cartoon-drawing tutorial.
This is an all ages event- so everything is kid friendly. It would be great for the younger members of the NDK family to come and experience this!
